Sawab – A Good Deed

Sawab is an Arabic word which means “right” the opposite of wrong. When we call it by Sawab it is from the world’s good deeds while if we do a good deed for Allah Almighty then it will be call as Thawab. But there are many pronunciations of the one word for example Thawab, Savab, Sawab, Sauap and sevap. The word Thawab is in the use of large geographical area where people believe in Islam. In Pakistan and India it is used as “Sawab” or “Savab”. In the society of Kazakh it is pronounced as “suaup”. In Iran it is uses as “Savab”. In areas of Arab it is used as Thawab while in Turkey it is modified as sevap.

Normally any and all good acts are considered to participate towards earning sawab, however for a Muslim there are certain acts that are more rewarding than anything else. The primary participating factor on the area of the reward is based on one’s intention in one’s heart – the silent unspoken one that Allah Almighty is aware of and not the expressed, eloquence one. These may be one and the same, however the eloquence is not needed prior to performing the deed.

The meritorious acts in Islam can be categorized by dividing them – the moral good and the spiritual good. Or at least the moral good will not have a high bearing if not alongside by the spiritual good. Spiritual goods comprises the acts of worship comprising Shahadah, Salah, Roza, Zakat and Hajj 2016 London Service these are pillars of Islam except this reading The Holy Quran and many other.
